Location: Gauteng · System: Fixed IBR · Carport

The brief
A double carport that reads as part of the house, not an afterthought: solid IBR sheeting on clean aluminium posts, colour-matched to the home's trim.
What we built
The same all-round gutter system as our premium awnings means no sheet-edge waterfalls over the windscreen — and real hail protection, which Highveld car owners understand deeply.

Why a built carport beats shade netting
Shade netting gives you shade. It does nothing about hail, nothing about driving rain, and nothing about where water goes — and on a Gauteng driveway, hail is the exposure that actually costs money. A Fixed IBR carport puts a real roof over the vehicles, built to the driveway's measurements rather than a standard bay size.
Cost-effective, not cut-price
Fixed IBR is the most affordable cover in our range, which is exactly why it suits carports — but it carries the same engineering as our patio awnings, including the full all-round gutter system. That matters more on a carport than people expect: without guttering, a large roof discharges its whole volume over one edge, onto the driveway you walk across and the cars you're protecting.
The specification behind it
- Fixed IBR roof, custom-manufactured to the driveway
- Full all-round gutter system with multiple downpipe outlets
- Chromadek® (10-year guarantee) or aluminium (15-year guarantee)
- Solar-control polycarbonate sections available where light is wanted
- Finished in Black, Charcoal, Bronze or Traffic White
Make it read as part of the house
The difference between a carport and a car shelter is specification: colour matched to the window frames, a roofline that sits with the building, a finished structure rather than a bolt-on. That is also what makes these work inside estates with architectural guidelines. More Fourways and Dainfern work.
